About Us:

George F. Richardson, Inc. is an Atlanta, GA based specialty construction firm providing a wide range services for General Contractors, Healthcare, Manufacturing Plants and Commercial Building Owners. Our company began in 1926 as the Thompson Floor Co.  George Richardson was an employee and purchased the company from Mrs. Thompson in 1929 when her husband died, thus founding the George F. Richardson Company.

Mr. Richardson incorporated in Fulton County Georgia in January 1953 and we became George F. Richardson, Inc.

Mr. Richardson retired in 1972 and sold the company to George F. Smith and Dudley R. Segars in 1976.  Mr. Smith was president until 1989 when he retired and Don Belling became the current president.
